Gamestop Stock Drama & Robinhood vs Decentralized Finance

Today we are witnessing history in the making. Gamestop is a publically traded video game retailer on a centralized stock exchange, that recently brought attention to the corruption happening on Wall Street, affecting all of us.

Today we are witnessing the average Joe, giving Wall Street the middle finger. I’m going to tell you about DEFI and FinTech, and why it’s superior to the traditional finance world which is centralized, controlled and manipulated by the few and the greedy. This is exactly why DEFI and fintech were created. Because of the manipulators that have been gaming the system for decades!

What is the Gamestop drama all about? What happened here is hedge funds shorted GameStop (GME). Members of a Reddit group WallStreetBets bought GameStop stock in a coordinated effort, and were able to get the stock up over 1,500% in one day!

Hedge Funds can spike and dump prices, and they do, literally everyday. I’ve been watching some documentaries on mentally ill deranged lunatics who kidnap and hold people in their basement for years. Hedge Fund managers fit that mindset. They are sick, twisted people.

Redditors (Reddit.com users) bought GameStop, and in the process took out the Hedge Fund’s short positions, causing billion in losses to these greedy, disgusting Hedge Funds. I don’t believe they were buying just for gains, I believe they did it to take down the hedge fund fat cats. The hedge funders are so used to getting their way, they were caught off guard and can be seen on many different newscasts complaining and literally crying about what happened.

The hedge fund scum contacted the brokers, Robin Hood, and Interactive Brokers, and instructed them to halt trading. This is why I’m in DEFI!

A Smart Alternative – Smart Contracts and DeFi
Our brokers are a smart contract. It’s software, that’s who our brokers are. We don’t need to rely on people. People can be bribed, blackmailed, and extorted. Defi is a transparent, honest system, immune to manipulation. Computer language is based on mathematics and numbers. It does not lie, and it cannot be greedy.

This hedge fund madness is corruption and f***ery at it’s worst. This is why I’m not in the stock market, I’m in decentralized finance. This is why crypto is better. I believe the masses can adopt cryptocurrency and DeFi and it can make the world a better place.

You do have an alternative option. Break free of the manipulated and dirty centralized finance game of the stock market. Cryptocurrency and DeFi make it possible.

GameStop was trading at $2.50 prior to the pump, now $500+… that’s crypto type gains. By halting trading, they may have won the battle, but they did not win the war. DeFi, decentralized exchanges, cannot be manipulated. It is the future and it cannot be stopped.

Uniswap, Your Own Swiss Bank Account

Take for instance Uniswap. Look at the screenshot: see the fox icon in the top right? That’s my stock account. Once I’m logged in, It interacts with the website. A smart contract will interact with my wallet, and allow me to buy, sell, or trade. I don’t need permission from anyone. It’s like having a Swiss bank account, on your computer or phone. I can do it anytime, anywhere in the world. Can you even imagine what the future possibilities hold? Nobody owns Uniswap. If “they” want to go after someone, there’s no one to go after. It is perfectly neutral.

A Corrupt System Can Be Replaced

This corruption has been happening for decades. I feel a need to speak out about this, and bring attention to this subject.

By the way, this isn’t about Bitcoin vs Ethereum or anything like that. Ethereum, Defi, and Polkadot are amazing compared to Bitcoin. You can’t build application on Bitcoin. I hold a large amount of my portfolio in Bitcoin, because it makes sense financially. As a whole crypto is an amazing technology that is and will continue to revolutionize the financial world.

The internet keeps us hyper-connected. It’s a great thing, and we can make it work for all of us. Another thing we talk about on my Youtube channel is getting into crypto presales. With my picks we usually do a 10X, just like Gamestop. We make amazing gains, all day, every day. The crypto market never sleeps, it is a 24 hour beast. There is no after hours trading like with the stock market.

Not everyone knows about the power of decentralized DEFI. You can’t call up a broker and tell them to halt trading. It’s immune to corruption and thievery. Anyone living anywhere can do this. It doesn’t matter where you live, or what your abilities are. It brings power to the people, and takes it away from the corrupt few.
